Nursery Rhymes?

Lately iBeen making use to using this blog thingy to express the utmost random thoughts that run through head of mind. Today, it's nursery rhymes. Some of us are familiar with most nursery rhymes singing them loud and proud throughout our youthful days. Just like most of Hip-Hop today, we were so use to reciting the song but not fully interpreting the message the song is expressing. Well i'm here to analyze some of these "innocent" rhymes and i'm here to tell you that half of them aren't as "innocent" as they are portraying to be.

Lets start off with a familiar nursery rhyme such as Jack & Jill. We all mostly know this one by heart.

Jack & Jill went up the hill to catch a pail of water Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after.
If we just sing this, it sounds like an innocent accident that happened by the well. BUT, iBelieve it was sumthin much more. This was a prime case of Homicide. You see, Jack and Jill going to the hill to catch a pail of water represents a regular couple going to a bar to get some drinks. Shoot! for all we know the bar could have been named "The Hill" and that water they were tryna "catch" was just a little Bacardi in they systems. Things probably got a little hot and heavy and maybe they got off on the wrong foot. Jack falling down and breaking his crown represents that he was brutally murdered by someone. The main suspect in this situation would be Jill considering they were just arguing at "The Hill". But Jill is a smart woman. instead of her just saying she didn't have anything to do with it, she made it look like she was a victim as well. Her"tumbling" down the hill instead of falling like Jack shows me that her accident was more planned and not as bad than Jack's so no one would accuse her of any wrong doings.

Another nursery rhyme to analyze is the well known Humpty Dumpty. Pretty innocent right??? NO!!... lets sing shall we?

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall Humpty Dumpty had a great fall All the Kings' horses and all the Kings' men Couldn't put Humpty together again
This was just Suicide at its best. Humpty was just a sad, depressed soul that decided life was too hard for an egg so he climbed to the highest building, and jumped the fuck off. All the King's horses and men were just ambulances and police on the scene who really could do anything cuz he was already pronounced dead.

One of my favorite ones is Rock a Bye baby, because i hardly have to interpret anything, its just straightforward violence going on here.

Rock-a-Bye Baby on the treetop When the when blows, the cradle will rock When the bow brakes the cradle will fall And down will come baby, cradle and all

SMH... my question is... WHO THE HELL PUTS A BABY CRADLE IN THE TREETOP ON A WINDY DAY???? this is first class Child Negligence in the 1st degree. no need to go in on this one. As you can see in these examples i've stated, these nursery rhymes express the harsh reality we live in, in every sense. I would go on to discuss the Poverty issues of the old woman who lived in a shoe, or even the Robbery issue of Hickory Dickory Dock, but i'mma let your intellect ponder on the many nursery rhymes you know and read deeper into the lines of a friendly rhyming song.
